Paul Mitchell The School Rapid City is fully equipped to meet all the demands of a full service salon experience, while at the same time providing a high-tech atmosphere and culture for progressive, positive, personal development.The 13,600 square-foot one level facility includes a student lounge and lockers, service desk experience and clinic classroom areas, management offices, private classrooms, workstations, and equipment.
We are located in the heart of the beautiful Black Hills, in downtown Rapid City in Tuscany Square Shopping Center on the corner of 3rd and Omaha Street.
We could accommodate over 100 massage, cosmetology, esthetics, and nail students comfortably. However, we limit our class sizes and offer continuous start dates to provide a more personal education experience without having to have waitlists. We take pride in our curriculum, going above and beyond by adding advanced education classes in hair, skin, nails and massage, but more importantly to continue to provide our Learning Leaders with specialty training to train you.

Parking
Paul Mitchell The School Rapid City rents a parking lot for our students convenience. Parking lot is located just east of Harriet & Oaks coffee shop / directly on the other side of Frontier Glass on Main Street. This is 1 1⁄2 blocks (.3 miles) from the school. This parking lot is private lot for the convenience of students under contract, so the main parking lot can be utilized by our guests.
Street parking is sometimes available, beware of parking time limit signs in the downtown area if on the streets.
Upon enrollment, you will be issued a numbered permit to be displayed on your car. Cars located in the student parking lot without a parking permit could be towed. You may also use these parking lots during special events or weekends - you have 1st priority after hours also if you have a sticker in your car.
Students are not allowed to park in the main lot or behind the building. We have special rewards for student of the month that can be earned for special parking in the back - but all depends on parking availability daily.
This is a requirement of the City of Rapid City that we provide parking for our students so that customers of the Tuscany Square have parking, please take advantage of the parking paid on your behalf on Main Street. Owners or Staff of anyone in the Tuscany Square can call the tow company, or if they report you to us you will move your vehicle and automatically receive an advisory.
We need to respect the other businesses and customers that need to utilize the parking lot. We all value our public as customers of the Tuscany Square they have front lot priority.
